Fashion Fraction: Focus On [Lolita] -Part 2-
Hello all you fashionistas following Project: Lixx.
Now it's time for the final part of this Focus On [Lolita].
In the first section, I brought up the big genres in the lolita field and some of the brands that fall under them- along with some photos from fans. In this section, we're going to talk about some of the other types of Lolita.
These types may not be as popular as the first section of genres but they are still a vibrant part of the lolita fashion community. Sadly, I did not receive any examples from the readers so I will be sourcing photos from Google Images. If you find an image that was used wrongly or if you are the creator and would like it removed from the article, please let me know and I will get to it ASAP.
With that said- let's talk about Country/Casual/Sailor, Ero/Guro, Punk, and Qi lolita.

The Weekly Quickie: BLACKLINE, GOTCHAROCKA, D=OUT, TRIGGAH, CARDIA, The 3rd Birthday
We'll start off this week with a little bad news. Heavy rock band, BLACKLINE, will be disbanding following their final live on December 16. The breakup announcement was first spotted on Mikaru's Facebook where he expressed regret and a continuing love for BLACKLINE and its members and just after, he made the promise that his solo project G.L.A.M.S. is forever. He seems pretty bummed out about the whole deal, so make sure to pop over to his Facebook and send him messages of support.

PV Analysis: DaizyStripper - 'G.Z.S.K.K.'
DaizyStripper was formed in Tokyo circa 2007. Made up of Yugiri on vocals, Nao on guitar, Rei playing bass and Kazami on drums, they performed earlier this year at Anime North, as covered here at Project: Lixx, The band has released 6 albums, the most recent bearing the song I'll be looking at the PV for today, their 17th single, G.Z.S.K.K. While they've recently announced the return of Mayu this clip is conspicuous in their output with his absence to be sure.

LIVE REPORT: Shonen Knife at The Silver Dollar Room, Toronto. Sept. 20, 2014.
The Silver Dollar Room is a venue which places the stage in the middle of a deep room, facing into the bar, offset by 2 live-streaming TV's at either end. Taking to the stage Naoko, Ritsuko, and Emi were met with the cheers of a sold out crowd. Though I could not see the ends of the bar for the fans, I'm sure not an eye was turned away from that stage, and it remained that way the entire night.

Con Report: Saboten Con 2014
What do get when you mix the dry, Arizona heat and four days of non-stop shopping for the latest and greatest in otaku wares, anime & cosplay, and amazing Jrock concerts? Saboten Con in Glendale, Arizona, of course. I had the privilege to be able to attend this year and can I just say that it was an absolutely AMAZING experience. I had the chance to jump into the beautiful chaos as media with this year’s three music guests: Kazha, Iruma Rioka, and MoonStream.

Review: G.L.A.M.S. - Under the Moon
About the Band: G.L.A.M.S. is the solo project of BLACKLINE frontman, Mikaru with Tetsuto on guitar and BLACKLINE drummer, Syu, on DJ. Dubbed “synthetic art,” G.L.A.M.S. kicked off activities with a seven day art exhibition in Paris in February of this year where Mikaru himself greeted fans and showcased his paintings in what could be considered the art capital of the world. In July, he announced the release of his first EP, Under the Moon, and launched a 13 stop tour that would take it all through Europe. And, he’s not stopping there. Just this month, he announced a hand-made jewelry line which is up for sale through the G.L.A.M.S. homepage.

PV Analysis: jizue - 'Shiori'
Formed in 2006, jizue is a jazz/post-rock combo with a unique, energetic sound. Made up of members Inoue Norimasa playing guitar, Katagi Nozomi Yori on keyboard, Yamada Tsuyoshi on bass and drums by Kokawa Kokoro, they toured Canada earlier this year to spread their sound to an international audience. Their albums have a literate bent in their names, "Bookshelf," "Novel" and "Journal" being the first three, followed by their latest "Shiori". Looking up the word I find translations as 'guidebook' and 'bookmark', both themes present in the titular video from the album, a moving instrumental piece.

Hey, Do You Know: Paranoid≠circuS?
So, I have been listening to this band for a couple days and I totally love these guys. Their look is what caught me off guard and made me VERY curious to hear what they sound like. Their music is the style that I love listening to. I'm absolutely in love with the vocals of the band. I could sit here all day and talk about how much I like this band but I won't.
