Anime North is giving away 20 double passes to the screening of the live action Space Battleship Yamato movie, airing at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre, 6 Garamond Court, Toronto, ON, on Sunday, February 16 at 2:00 PM.
In director Takashi (Sunset on 3rd Street) Yamazaki’s live-action adaptation of the popular anime series, the crew of the Yamato set out on a journey to the planet Iscandar to acquire a device that can heal the radiation-ravaged Earth. Featuring spectacular special effects, thrilling action and a great cast including Takuya Kimura, Meisa Kuroki, Toshiro Yanagiba, Reiko Takashima.
